Introducing Our New Scientific Advisory Board Member

We are exceptionally proud of our world-class Scientific Advisory Board, which plays a vital role in assessing funding for proposed research projects. We are thrilled to welcome Professor Gudrun Schleiermacher as the newest member of the Board.

Professor Gudrun Schleiermacher is a leading paediatric oncologist and researcher at Institut Curie in Paris, where she specialises in neuroblastoma and precision medicine for children with cancer.

As a physician-scientist, she combines patient care with cutting-edge research, leading international clinical trials and major European collaborations to improve treatments and outcomes for young patients. Her work has helped identify key genetic drivers of neuroblastoma and advance more personalised treatment approaches for children worldwide.

Professor Andy Pearson has been an integral member of our Board for several years, and we have greatly benefited from his deep expertise in childhood cancer. As he steps down from his role, we extend our sincere thanks for his invaluable contribution and dedicated service. We wish him all the very best in his future endeavours.
